Black Beauty STEMinist FAQs

Are there age restrictions for the event?

Yes. All attendees must be 18 years of age or older. Individuals under 18 are not permitted to attend any Summit programming, including panels, workshops, the Block Party, or evening events. 

Who can attend the Black Beauty STEMinist Summit?

The Summit is open to registered students, professionals, founders, researchers, educators, invited guests, and individuals interested in or curious about beauty science, innovation, entrepreneurship, and culture. 


Please note: No one under 18 years of age is permitted to attend the Summit. This policy applies to all programming, including panels, workshops, the Block Party, and evening events. 

Can I video or audio record Summit sessions?

No. Video and audio recording are not permitted in the main stage area. Photography is also not permitted unless explicitly authorized by the Summit organizing team. 


These policies are in place to protect speakers, panelists, proprietary content, and the overall integrity of the Summit experience. 

Can I sell or promote my product at the Summit?

No. Product sales, solicitation, and promotional activities are not permitted during the Summit unless explicitly approved and coordinated in advance by the Summit organizing team. 

How do I register for the Summit?

Registration is completed online through the official Summit registration link. All attendees must register in advance. On-site registration is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. 

Is registration required for all events?

Yes. Registration is required for access to all Summit activities, including keynote sessions, panels, workshops, the Block Party, and networking events. 

Are tickets transferable?

Registrations are non-transferable unless prior written approval is granted by the Summit organizing team. Identification may be required at check-in. 

What is included with registration?

Registration provides access to scheduled Summit programming during the registered dates. Some Block party activities have limited-capacity and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.  Workshops require advance sign-up and an additional registration fee.  

What are the Summit dates and location?

The Black Beauty STEMinist Summit will take place March 20–22, 2026, on the campus of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Specific venue details will be shared with registered attendees. 

What are the check-in procedures?

All attendees must check in at the registration desk to receive credentials. Credentials must be worn or presented at all times to access Summit spaces. 

Is parking available?

Limited parking may be available in the Spelman College parking garage at a rate of $5 per day.  Re-entry without payment is not permitted. Attendees are encouraged to use ride-share services or public transportation where possible. Parking details will be shared closer to the event. 

Are meals provided?

Select sessions may include light refreshments. Lunch will be provided on Saturday only. Attendees should plan accordingly for meals not listed in the official program. 

Are accommodations provided?

Lodging is not included with registration. A list of recommended hotels and negotiated rates (if available) will be shared with registered attendees. healthy and glowing skin.

What is the dress code?

Business casual or professional attire is recommended. Comfortable footwear is encouraged due to walking between venues. perfect brows.

Can I bring guests or children?

No. Guests who are not registered are not permitted, and individuals under 18 years of age may not attend under any circumstances. 

What is the cancellation or refund policy?

Refund and cancellation policies will be outlined during registration. Please review those terms carefully before completing your registration.
